Cellphones Dirtier than Toilets
Cellphones a bacteria breeding ground? A recent KOKI Fox 23 Tulsa, OK news report investigates this exact question – and found that cellphones are far dirtier than the average toilet!
The news channel tested 9 phones and they even found one that had the staph bacteria on it! The mother’s phone had over 700 bacteria. The teenager’s phone was one of two with e coli on it, most likely from someone who touched the phone after using the bathroom – without washing their hands. On the teacher’s phone – there were over 3000 different bacteria, including some pretty nasty stuff.
Most cellphones average 25,000 germs per square inch. People actually clean their toilets more often than they clean their phones. Use hand sanitizer on your hands and disinfecting wipes to clean your phone on a regular basis. A bluetooth headset also provides a way to keep away and keep from adding to, the bacteria on your phone.
