You hit 5GHZ..That's insane.

How stable is it though?

Im running all cores on prime around 4.9ghz satble, Might get stable at 5ghz in winter. Temp here today being summer is about 30c/ 86F so thats not helping. But this chip does run cooler for sure. Just seems to like lots of vcore, i guess you get that with additional cores....

Don't hit 1.8 or you'll fry the chip!

At any rate, 5Ghz is fine, you'll have plenty of processing power.

If not you can always get that dual CPU LGA1336 board that EVGA is going to make.

The chip is not from NZ. If you look in cpuz is an (ES) model. You cant buy it yet.....

Just searched on eBay US there are 2 for sale just search for gulftown on eBay.com I'll hold back for a while until they are available here not worth spending 1000+ buying from overseas might get damaged

Looks like the non extreme version (2.4ghz) will still be over $1800aus and may not be available until july...
