Cronicash what is the program you are using to create those 3D models? (if thats what you're doing)

Im using sketchup 7.1 pro to model and kerkythea echo to render. Sometimes i use maxwell and other programs to render and model with, but these are my favourites.....l

Looks really good, Blender is using bias rendering methods i belive. Cant beat it for freeware animation imo, unless your really savy with autodesk maya or 3ds max....

We're being taught everything on my course on Blender, I have found it ok, but i'm looking into other programs now.

Some programms have nicer GUI and are easier to use, a few more options with rendering and physics implementation like water and basic particle gravity like with grass. But really theres nothing you cant do in blender just as good. Imo get to know one program really well, and then look at others, cause methods can be really backwards in other apps compared and it gets quite confusing for me personally...  But yeah, autodesk apps are very common...

3DSMAX has a great UI, but Blender is free, they both can do the same, but Blender is yes, worse in UI.
