Today was the day my E4700 Hit 4.0Ghz at 1.55v and Bus speed 308 X13 multiplier 3.8GHz-3.9Ghz Stable no prob so far. Thanks to my new mobo ASUS Maximus II Formula, the cooler used coolermaster V8 Grin Cheesy

That voltage is too high for 24/7 use lol. Keep it below 1.5v, preferably below 1.45v.

i didnt check the temps but i just went up to 1.55v just to do a 4.0Ghz validation on cpu-z im not going to be using that speed very often ill stick to my 1.3v 3.55Ghz often and just wanted to know are 45nm cpus safe to overclock with because iv seen lots of stories about them dyeing out very quick idk i just prefer 65nm cpus they are more comfortable to oc
