i found a tutorial after months of searching for a method to do this.

http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/tech-help/18125-overclock-locked-bios-works-branded-pcs-such-dells-gateways-compaqs-ect.html

ok so now i need help lol... i now have the ability to overclock but dont have the knowledge as of how to do it correctly with out frying my components...

that was a test i did just to see i could actualy overclock...

now what do i do whats safe? as of FSB speeds temperatures how do i test the overclock to see if it is stable?

It's a 945 chipset, don't expect much.

And you did know that you could've just flashed the BIOS right?

Make sure its done in the bios a few times ive crashed using programs, so in your bios when increasing your bus speed i think you have to increase you vcore(Cpu Voltage) remember dont set it up to high u want to slowly increase little by little and remember to set it to manual to overclock if it says it in your bios and make sure you are using the maximum multipliers you can use, if you are confident one day u might achieve speeds like this but not with that current cpu or chipset you are using  Grin :

Grab a 720X3 and a decent mobo.

Or get a 940X4 and get a 770 or 790X mobo.
