yeah the industrial diamonds are usually murky & yellow looking and they're not worth mining since there's no "beauty" about them, maybe the rough diamond market will be as busy as fine diamonds if they're chosen for CPUs, GPUs and other chip business.

Another advantage I haven't seen anyone mention: Diamonds are one of the best heat-conductors known to man.

People are and have been making Diamond TIM for a while now.

I heard it's excellent, although it still costs too much to be affordable for anyone.

I would rather have better performance then a higher clock.  Roll Eyes

+1, glad someone here who actually prefers quality over price!!!  Shocked

And while I agree with that, you're stating it like there's a direct relationship between clock-speed and price. In reality the relationship is between performance and price...usually. Lot's of AMD and ATI fanboys would likely correct me if I forgot that.

It depends, most if not everything is made in China these days, the good stuff being in Japan and Taiwan(electronics mind you) or Korea. So in other words, where it's made hardly matters as usually in terms of computers the individual components like RAM or capacitors are made from the same source(although some will undoubtedly be better).

Quality and performance have no actual correlation with each other, the relation is between performance/price, or Quality/pirce.

Usually high quality objects have a low Price/Performance, high performance objects though have an even lower price/performance and high quality and performance objects are through the roof expensive.

Conclusion: You can't get all three, but two will suffice.
