com.puter.tv IRC Chat Room?

This has probably already been suggested at some point but I think it would be a really good idea if someone set up a dedicated com.puter.tv IRC chat room that could be somehow integrated into the forums. I think this would be a good idea because it would bring together the forums and get more users by showing that there is an easy way to get some answers aswell. It could also be swapped with the one on the ustream and people who view the ustream stream (lol) could have easy access to the forums. If the chat was shown in the actual tech update recording (like what chris pirillo does) I think it would be amazing!

Hopefully one of you guys are more experience in internet relay chat than I am and could get this all set up.

well we've tried to get a chatroom implemented & failed miserably so if anything IRC will be just as challenging to attach to the forums

I think an IRC chat would be a good idea. Even if it doesn't integrate perfectly into the forums. We could just put details in for your IM client. I like the idea of all us being able to chat outside the forums.
