I have win 7 64 bit loaded on my pc. I have it shared but when I try to add the printer on my networked laptop It tells me I need the driver. The drivers are loaded on my laptop but It wants me to tell it where they are. I wants an INI file but I can not find one it likes, not even on the cd that came with the printer. I tried to add "ADDITIONAL Drivers in win 7 printer properties but I can not find the correct driver there either.  Can anybody tll me the name of the driver file and where it is, or how to fix this. It all worked great when both were running XP

Sorry if I'm late to the party (by a month) but I'm rather sure the solution to your problem is to uninstall the drivers that came with the printer, and instead use Win7's database of printer drivers to install from. (Just type 'Add a Printer' into the search). Go through the options, select your printer, hit install.

Windows is simply not recognizing the external drivers that were included.
