Thats a pretty good low end build, it should all work just fine.

A few changes you could make is get a Corsair VX450W because Corsair has some of the best PSUs, but thats up to you the one you have now is good. As for the hard drive, I would get a Western Digital WD5001AALS Caviar Black instead of the Green since the Blacks are faster and I believe they have a longer warranty. Also, I wouldn't go for less than 4GB of memory this OCZ Gold Edition 4GB would work.

What's your budget?

Also, Newegg tends to be cheaper.

And you're dramatically overpaying on your RAM. You could get 4GB for just a little more.

+1

The one I recommended was 4GB of DDR3 1066 for $85, it's a lot better than 2GB of DDR3 1333 for $75.

That said, I'd try to get at least 1333.

Then he could go with this...

OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333

It's actually cheaper after rebate.

I find that buying bundles like a mobo+cpu combo is cheaper than buying single unit.

I'm trying to find the right bundle.

Well it's cheaper than buying the parts separately for sure, but it's usually not worth sacrificing the parts you want to fit a combo.

Separate bundles usually end up quite well.

1 huge bundle ends up being a bit of a let down though.

But only if it's got the parts you want. It's not worth buying a bundle if you get a motherboard you didn't want.
