ok...i dont really want to spend 700 dollars on a graphics card,i will if i have to but..
i can get 2 5870 at 300 each..vs 700...i know thats only 100 dollars diff..but...
can some one tell me if the 2 5870s are good as or close to one 5970?....

As far as I'm concerned there's no accounting for future drivers. Nobody knows what drivers will do, and while 5970s will undoubtedly increase performance, Xfired 5870s will too.

Well, sometimes it's pushing it on a 30" monitor...but the main reason is eyefinity.
