HP Pavillion Elite m9510f Quad Core
Had to chance to manhandle this box for a little while, and it’s definitely impressive. It’s got a Core2 Quad processor (Q8200), 8 gigs of Ram, and a Nvidia 9500GS so it screams right out of the box.
If you’re looking for gaming, video editing, photo editing, or a machine that can handle tons of HD video – you can;t go wrong with this. The Pavillion Elite m9510f will handle just about everything you throw at it with ease.

[..YouTube..] Elite refers to a member of a dominant group, it’s a common reference within the military, and is not the highest (per position of power) or most powerful/important class. Commonly random units within a platoon would be chosen to become part of an Elite group to perform tasks more important than that of the platoon they came from. The choice of which units are to form an elite has nothing to do with the capabilities of such units, but rather a good track record and effectiveness in battle.

[..YouTube..] Unless of course we consider that the computer is not a member of the military. Elite, as a word of it’s own rather than a description of a rank, means an above average member of society to which can be compared with superiority to the average citizen. In a communist country, the government could be considered to be Elite. This does not mean that they are ‘better’ than those they rule over, but are simply assigned into a position of power simply because someone has to be in charge to avoid chaos

[..YouTube..] ye, this computer is in charge!
April 4th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
[..YouTube..] Again, a position of power isn’t a sign of capabilities, but you’re right. This computer is ‘in charge’, I suppose. HP’s subsidiary name brands include Pavilion, Compaq, Voodoo, and TouchSmart. Of the Pavilion line, the ‘Elite’ computers have the best specifications. Being Elite member of one group does not mean you are better than those of another group. Elite dictators of a communistic country don’t have power over those of another country, do they? It fits the definition of Elite perfectly…

[..YouTube..] Yes, I must say that you have highlighted a valid point. Alothough ELITE does not necessarily refer to technical capabilities and is usually used in context of a hirachy, (e.g militry) when HP designed this computer, they inteded for it to be their “top-of-the-line” computer, not the top of any other brand’s line, hence being called “ELITE”. If they wanted it to be the best of the best of any computer they would have named it something like “ULTIMATE”, which generraly means the best you can get.

[..YouTube..] this is HP this IS NOT elite….

[..YouTube..] Dx10 is still slower than Dx9 but one or two games. They also look identical except Dx10 is has some cleaner particle affects. Lets hope Dx11 actually improves performance and allows for noticeably better visuals.

[..YouTube..] wow that looks like shit
April 6th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
[..YouTube..] Because regular people think building computers requires some kind of voodoo.
Most people just aren’t into computers and just want their machine to work. It’s easier for grandma to get the all-in-one package from best buy than to build a tri-SLI watercooled gaming rig for herself (would you believe that?).
April 7th, 2009 at 5:28 pm
[..YouTube..] You can get a better computer at the same price just assembled ur own custom computer. This has a bad graphic card but overall is good.. I wonder how many power watts this system have? Just incase you need to change the video card in it and this one is not SLI ready..^_^ just build a custom one u can get one in less price.
