When installing this scanner on a Vista OS....be sure to disable your UAC, windows firewall and any antivirus software before installing and then re-enable after installation has finished. (less headaches) For a simple scanner it's pretty good, and the software is much better on this scanner than the older G4000 series scanners. Have fun. :D [..YouTube..] Oh I forgot to mention.
