Win a TI-nspire from Texas Instruments

We know everyone is getting ready to go back to school, so we decided to help one lucky kid ace all their math exams by giving away a free TI-nspire calculator courtesy of Texas Instruments.

Now this is not just any ordinary calculator. It retails at about $140 buck-a-roonies! (Just think of all that extra cash you’ll save for new computer parts…) Here’s some more info on the TI-nspire that could be yours:

* 2 calculators plus computer software for MAC or PC, all in one!

* Like a computer in your hand – large, high-resolution screen, interactive graphing capabilities, drop down menus and a built-in cursor which help students interact with math concepts and explore problem solving strategies in real-time.

* Save and review work – 20MB of storage, students can create, save and edit their work.

* Allowed on the SAT.* Also permitted on the ACT and AP* tests and many state math exams. With the purchase of the TI-Nspire, students can download free test prep questions from The Princeton Review.

* Free homework help. Stuck on a problem? Free online access to math tutors from Tutor.com is included with the purchase of the TI-Nspire.

Make mom and dad proud by following these steps to win:

1. Make sure you’re following ComputerTV on Twitter.
2. Here is a really really really ridiculously hard math problem given to us by the geniuses at Texas Instruments.

The first person to solve the problem correctly and tweet the answer to @computertv wins the TI-nspire. Your tweet must read:

@computertv ANSWER is my final answer, now give me the TI-nspire!

Got questions, problems, concerns? E-mail Sam at sam@com.puter.tv but don’t ask her for help with the problem…she’s not that good at math!
